Afterward, you will need to take approximately 2 weeks off work and avoid strenuous exercise for 6 weeks.

To support the healing process, a compression garment will be recommended for 6 weeks. It is important to note that the full settling of the hand may take up to 18 months, but the majority of our patients experience significant improvement soon after the surgery.
